Interim Support Staff Sub-Committee

At the April 2010 National Board of Directors meeting, the Human Resources (HR) Committee recommended the creation of the Interim Support Staff Sub-Committee to deal with problems related to support staff job descriptions and classification.

The Interim Support Staff Sub-Committee’s mandate is to :

Work to ensure CBSA provides, as soon as possible, CIU members who work in support staff positions with current statements of those duties and proper classification those duties; this means:
(a) Researching (i.e. gathering, reviewing, and analyzing data),
(b) Consulting (e.g. with the NBOD, management, members, the PSAC),
(c) Developing and implementing measures, strategies and/or campaigns that have the support of the National Executive and/or NBOD.
